I liked the first movie and have seen it on TV numerous times. I guess I’m the only one who didn’t mind the second one, but that could be because I enjoyed the Dubai locale. Such ridiculous decadence!
Sure, there were lots of stupid things – Samantha stripping down in the market making a feminist statement was all sorts of wrong, but I’ll still watch the movie on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
So obviously, I have no issue with a third movie. Maybe have the trilogy wrap-up thing. Usually in trilogies, the second one is the weakest, right? Would they have Big and Carrie consider parenthood? (I hope not) Somebody die? (Sam or Steve’s cancer could return, Big’s heart issues, or someone out of left field, like Charlotte) Regardless, I’ll watch it.

The only way I would possibly watch another SatC movie would be if there were spoilers that Carrie and Big are done forever. I know that she always had terrible taste in men, but her ending up with the man who broke her heart over and over again is not the happy ending the powers that be made it out to look. Then what for Carrie? I guess the only other logical thing to do for her is to allow her to remain single forever. ETA: lea1977 - I liked Miranda better with Blair Underwood's character. I didn't quite buy Miranda acting like a "dog in the manger" when Steve started going out with Debbie. FWIW I also liked Carrie with Jack Berger. I also didn't buy the whole "breakup by post-it".

Yes, perhaps she is single at the end of the third, wouldn't surprise me. Horrible confession but I never liked Steve very much, I liked that guy Miranda had a one night stand with while in the early stages of pregnancy.

I liked Miranda with Blair as well, I wish they writers would have explored that relationship more than insisting Miranda be with Steve, I never bought that whole uptown girl/downtown boy relationship.
