I have a raging hatred for Ben Stiller. The sight of him makes me sick. I can't even give him credit for the one film he was in that I enjoyed, FLIRTING WITH DISASTER.
He's not funny, he's..I just hate him so much.

I hate Denzel Washington because he did an interview with Ed Bradley a few years ago and all he did was whine, fucker. And now that he has two Oscars he's a smug fuck now too. (Sorry about the cursing )

I HATE Rachael Ray from the Food Network because she's far too enthusiastic. It's just food, for chrissakes.

I've decided that there are few celebs I actually hate, I just hate the fact that the media and Hollywood pays attention to them and then puts them in all the magazines, tv shows, movies, etc., then I have to pay attention to them. Most of these people I wouldn't care about one way or another if it weren't for the fact they are given far more attention and praise than they truly deserve. But since this is the hate thread...


J-Lo? Seriously, one good performance (Out of Sight, maybe two since some people like to count Selena - I personally found that movie hokey and cheesy). She ain't the best actress out there, she can't sing, even her most famous ASSet is disappearing. Why do we still care?

Paris Hilton - Why did we ever care?

All the guys out there mentioned above (Ashton, et al) that they try to tell me are "hott" when all I can think when I look at them is that they probably rode the short bus to school.

Lindsay Lohan - she's a child who has been given huge amounts of cash and way too much freedom. Of course she's gonna act like a idiot. I would expect her parents to rein her in, except they seem to suck too. But again, I don't care what she does or whether or not she is/was dating Fez.

Britney - why hasn't she gone away? Because the media won't let her.

Actually, my Britney hate extends to all of the pre-packaged pop stars with little to no talent who get all the record deals and play on the radio when there are far more talented people out there who can't get noticed. These girls aren't singers, musicians or "artists" - they are cleverly marketed products.

Kelly Ripa

Her fake perkiness and dumb blonde act grate. I cannot stand to watch her and Regis, she is just so phony and forced. She is just a younger Kathy Lee, she tells the same "funny" stories about her husband and kids. Also, that show she does with Faith Ford is so stupid it makes Full House look like Shakespeare.

And don't get me started on her husband. He did a gig at our local mall (snerk), my friend is head of security and she said he treated everybody like shit. He has the nerve acting like he is too good since he used to be "Mark the Meat" when he stripped.

Leelee Whatevereski. I cannot stand her. From her stupid poodle name to her annoying Helen Hunt wannabe voice, she is just grating through and through. She just seems to take herself so seriously. I bet she has no sense of humor and if her friends or family ever threw her a surprise party, she'd start screaming at them all to get out of her house and make everyone feel like shit. Ugh! I can't even think about her anymore.

Oh, and Jennifer Love Hewitt. HATE. Especially after listening to the Can't Hardly Wait soundtrack and listening to teh directors call her 'Love'. "Watch so-and-so whip those charp scissors right at Love's face." Yeah, too bad she didn't stab her in one of those huge, taxidermied deer eyes. Maybe we would've seen some emotion besides 'troubled' and 'very troubled'.

Cameron Diaz with her vapid stupidity (faked or not). Listening to her try to like sell her like latest giggle like project makes me want to smash my own head against the nearest hard service. (Cue incomprehensible rambling followed by snorting laugh).

I used to actually like Cameron Diaz, but her whole-hearted embrace of the Characteristic That Pisses Me Off Most in Celebrities - whining about the cruel, cruel loss of privacy that superstardom engenders - has place her firmly on my HATE! list. I'm sure the paparazzi are annoying but when you make $15 million a movie, get everything for free anyway and have people kissing your ass from every direction suck it the fuck up. It's no secret that loss of privacy is the price of fame. And a tip for Ms. Diaz: if you don't media attention you might try not throwing ice at random women, not beating up a photographer outside of a celebrity-hotspot bar where paparazzi generally congregate, not making out with your boyfriend in public (great photo ops!), and not calling a tabloid to proclaim said relationship "solid."

I've also long-harbored hatred for Gwyneth Paltrow, but I think I've ranted enough for one post.

Damn, I hate all of these folks. There has got to be a reason for this shared hate. Before I knew of boards like this, I thought I was just alone in my hate.

I think why we all hate these folks is that Hollywood publicists/agents want to shove these folks on us, forget letting them wow us with any kind of talent.

OT: I'm given to understand that it's not faked. I knew someone who worked at the Screen Actors Guild over the summer a few years ago, who met Cameron Diaz several times and told me (in an incredulous tone of voice) that she had "never before met anyone that stupid".

As for me, I have what I suspect may be a borderline unreasonable hate on for Gwen Stefani. Between the posse of Harajuku girls she has follow her around everywhere, to the self-aggrandizing lyrics (apparently she is referring to herself as the "super hot female" in the horribly overplayed What You Waiting For. And the thing is: no. No, you're not, Gwen. Nor, while we're on the subject, are you Jean Harlow. You're overbleached and wrinkled and aging rapidly. Go away.) to the pimping of her clothing line. She makes me - to paraphrase Joey from Friends - want to pull my own arm off just so I have something to throw at her.

I remember him doing an interview with Rosie on her show years ago. I cannot remember what movie he was nominated for, but it was something he didn't win for. Rosie said "I'm sorry you didn't win." He looked her straight in the eye and said, in complete seriousness: "well, me too". Then he proceeded to say what a hard shoot it was, very demanding, how great the movie is, etc. I could not believe what a self-important jackass he was.
