Oh, Brookie- don't get me wrong! I still shed many a tear as a Lush manager! hahaha! The Upper Management definitely needs some help, and I think it's a blessing I didn't move forward. I HIGHLY recommend African Paradise... and honestly?? I must be on my 20th jar of Ro's Argan Body Conditioner since it came out. ...And it hasn't been out that long.  I have two containers of Ro's here myself. |

Bumping an old thread mainly to have others share my squick. LUSH has become all about Jelly this past month. They discontinued a bunch of products to introduce Jelly face masks and Jelly Bath Bombs. I don't know how these things smell or if they work wonders on your skin. But looks wise? SOOOOO ICKY!!! It looks like when an oil tanker springs a leak... except in your bathtub. Again, they could smell wonderful and might make your skin soft as butter... But I'd be scared to get in the tub with that slime. |

As a former employee familiar with the jelly products - they are hard to use. They're best used with some kind of sponge or those exfoliating gloves. Just taking a handful is useless - it falls apart, half of it rinses down the drain immediately, and the jelly soaps are difficult to foam up. I can't imagine a jelly face mask (wtf?), but YMMV. |
