Favourite Animated Characters

I love all the characters from the original Disney The Jungle Book. Probably my favorite was Bagheera, trying hopelessly to keep things in control. Oh, and Colonel Hathi, marching his troops along with that crazy song, something like, "We march from here to there! It does not matter where!"

Oh, and King Louie -- painfully aware he's just a couple small evolutionary steps away from being human.

God, I love Plankton from SpongeBob. He's just so E-ville, and he's voiced so well.

I loved all the characters from Clone High--especially Abe, Joan, and Principal Scudworth. Oh, and JFK's special love for Ponce...sniff...

What was the swear that Justin used? I've seen that movie so many times that I can't believe I don't recognize the reference.

My favorite cartoon characters are all weird ones: I loved the old "Casper the Friendly Ghost" and "Woody Woodpecker" cartoons when I was a kid. There was a segment on one show (I think Woody Woodpecker, but not sure) called "Chilly Willy the Penguin" which I loved. Chilly Willy sneezed at the end of his theme song. Also, Mighty Mouse, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Underdog and George of the Jungle had characters I loved.

In the mid-to-late 80s there was a completely random show about a vampire animal character, some kind of bird or possibly a mouse, that I thought was hilarious, but I have no idea what it's called. I think it was on Nickelodeon though.

ETA: Trent Lane and all of Mystik Spiral! I can't believe I forgot to add them. Their songs were hilarious:

My all-time favorite cartoon character has to be Bugs Bunny. Smart, suave, unflappable, wisecracking Bugs, able to hold his own against Elmer, Yosimete Sam, and Daffy. Just about the coolest toon character of all time.

I loved Battle of the Planets as a kid. Princess was one of my heroes. Don't laugh!

Later, I began watching the first generation of Cartoon Network toons: Dexter's Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls.

My current faves: the Fairly Oddparents cast and Chihiro from the animated film Spirited Away.

Foghorn-Leghorn was the Man.

I also loved the Superfriends (all of them, except the WonderTwins and that other sister/brother team they had).
The Flintstones and Tom and Jerry were also great.

In my preteen/teen years, it was Jem!(Truly Outrageous!) and Dungeons and Dragons (Imagine Harry Potter, 20 years ago, animated, with really cool friends).

Now I love SpongeBob, especially Mr. Krabs, and DeeDee from Dexter's Laboratory. She is really nuts.
And to come full circle, I love Justice League.

Sans Cubert, I love the entire cast of Futurama. They all bring something different to the show, and are awesome.

Pinky was my favorite character as a kid. That show was the funniest thing on TV as a kid.

Anyway, I love all the characters on "Invader Zim". They're all pretty crazy and hilarious in their own way.

My favourite is Gargoyles. Goliath is my secret crush! And didn't he get together, finally, with that human lady? Lucky!

Also Futurama and Family Guy. I just love Brian .

I absolutely love Samurai Jack. I have a weird fixation on his giant shovel hands. Every episode completely sucks me in. My favorites are the ones with the big Scottish guy.
