Yay Animaniacs! I loved Chicken Boo too! Yakko, Wakko, and Dot were great as well. Even though I hate live-action mimes, I even loved the mime from "Mime Time".
I also really like Brian from Family Guy--too bad he's an animated dog and not a human being. I'd love to find a non-canine version of him. But alas...

And this is why I love this site. It is oh-so-rare that I can find anyone who even remembers these cartoons (especially Battle of the Planets), much less loved them.
I was addicted to "Battle of the Planets" when I was 4-5 years old (my favourite character was Mark). Then they stopped showing it on TV in Canada, and according to my parents, I was weepily inconsolable for days.
When I was about the same age, maybe a few years older (about the same time that I was also watching "Dungeons and Dragons", in fact) I was nuts for another program that nobody else remembers, which I believe was called "The Drac Pack". Something about a bunch of cartoon vampires and other monsters, who were the protagonists of the show. I remember next to nothing about this show, only that I loved it.
But, yes, Bugs really does own this thread. I also have mad love for Daffy Duck and two other supporting characters in the Looney Tunes stable: Rudolph (sometimes called Gossamer) - the giant orange puff-ball of a monster with white tennis shoes, and Michigan J. Frog - who sang ragtime in a top hat and cane for an audience of one. That cartoon still has me in stitches whenever it comes on TV.

I remember reading Mel Blanc say that Bugs Bunny was who we all wanted to be but that Daffy Duck was who we actually were. I always remember that when I don't respond with the suave coolness that I would in my imagination; "Oy. That was a Daffy Duck moment."
Currently, I love Mucha Luchas and DeeDee from Dexter's Lab is hysterical. In highschool, I adored Darkwing Duck. My favorite character, though, is the old Daffy Duck, when Daffy still meant freakin' crazy, not cranky. You only see him on the old, old cartoons.
In spite of the wealth of cartoons available, Batboy loves old Scooby Doos. He never misses them.

I love Courage the Cowardly Dog. He tries so hard. He lives with such a crazy owner and he loves the older lady so much. Awwww. And the animation is trippy. I also loved Cowboy Bebop, especially Spike. I just wish the movie had been better.

Bugs Bunny was a constant in my childhood, and yes, I need to emulate him more as opposed to letting my Daffy Duck side always get the upper hand. But I really have a special place in my heart for Kimba the White Lion (yes, I'm getting up there in years, thank you very much). I can't help but curl my lip just a bit when I see the Lion King. I mean, please. Kimba was first. Kimba remains the best. No argument.

I really loved Josie and the Pussycats when I was young and thought they were so cool with their rock band and everything.
My new fav characters are the cast on The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. It cracks me up every time. The latest one, with Mandy needing to smile and the beauty pagent complete with a Dune reference was hysterical.

In the summer, I garden. Yeah the birds and the hummingbirds and the bees and the butterflies all adore me and my garden. I am like a friggin' Snow White.
This spring I had rabbit depredations of my roses and coneflowers and sweet William. So I was out in my garden putting wire mesh cages around my roses and my coneflowers and my sweet William; while across the patio, the rabbit is munching on a dandelion and watching me.
"D*mn you, Wabbit!" I yell and shake my fist. He keeps munching the dandelion and watching me.
I was Elmer Fudded by that d*mn wabbit!
The Moral of this Tale: You may want to be Bugs Bunny; you may think yourself Daffy Duck. But you are Elmer Fudd.

When I have kids, Stewie from The Family Guy is so going to be my snotty little baby.

As a kid? Definitely He-Man, She-Ra and Thundercats - it was all about the action for me. Oh, and word to whoever said Dungeons and Dragons - I recently got them on DVD and Venger still freaks me out! Also used to quite like the Real Ghostbusters - except I saw an episode called Banshee Bake A Cherry Pie and it scared me to the point of not watching it again for ages!
Now? SpongeBob's where it's at. Also love Stewie and Family Guy in general.
