Oh, I'm home, I'm home! People who know and love Kimba! And realize that he is the REAL Lion King... I haven't watched any of the shows again after I caught a glimpse of one a few years ago. Nope, it doesn't really hold up and my memories of them are so glowing that I don't want to spoil them.
And let's not start with Speed Racer! I was torn between wanting to love on him with my five year-old self (I suppose that would have meant a lot of passionate hand-holding) and wanting so badly to be Speed Racer. But what the hell was up with Trixie? Has her exact relationship with Speed Racer ever been established? As a sister, she was obnoxious. But as a girlfriend? Insufferable.
I am so going to name my next horse or dog, "Racer X".

I loved all the characters from Clone High--especially Abe, Joan, and Principal Scudworth. Oh, and JFK's special love for Ponce...sniff... I loved Clone High! I wish they'd bring it back. It would fit in perfectly on Adult Swim! Great, great show! Big WORD on the Bugs Bunny love. One of the all-time greats, able to think his way out of anything. The Road Runner is a close second. Also loved Valerie from Josie and the Pussycats and Princess from Battle of the Planets. I so wanted to see her hook up with Mark!

A lot of people wanted to see Princess hook up with Mark. A lot of people wanted to see him hook up with Jason, too... :-)

Does anyone else watch "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends"? Bloo is a great character. With a ridiculously simple character design that seems based on roll-on deodorant (spoofed on the show), the animators have created a egomaniacal charmer, slightly dim and conniving but always fun. Very well written and voice-acted for a kids' show (I predict this one will cross over to older audiences like Spongebob did).

To me Bloo looks a bit like Booberry (the old Peter Lorresque one, not the newer Casper clone.) My favorite animated character is Brak of "Cartoon Planet" and "The Brak Show." I will buy virtually any product with him on it. My favorite t-shirt is my "Hey! Where's My Baloney Sammitch?" shirt, and I'm a vegetarian.

Donald Duck is my favorite Disney character. When I was a really young, my mom would tape all these Wonderful World of Disney specials starring Donald, and I will still watch them to this day, and I still have the Humphrey the Bear cartoon picking up litter. Donald was so much cooler than Mickey, who was always too happy for me.

I still have the Humphrey the Bear cartoon picking up litter. Aaargh! Lucky! I've been waiting to see that stupid cartoon again for years. I do have four other Humphrey the Bear cartoons on tape, though. The picture is bad quality but I don't care. Humphery ruled. I wish they'd have made more cartoons with him in them. He is so much funnier than Mickey and Minnie Mouse. They suck! I always hated them. Mickey was abusive towards his dog Pluto too.

Anyone else old enough to remember this? Look in the sky...it's a bird, it's a plane...no it's UNDERDOG! And of course his lovely girlfriend, Sweet Polly Purebred! *raises hand* me, me. Oh man, Underdog was my first ever favorite animated character! I even had an Underdog mug I drank my milk in and a cape I wore every morning as I watched. (Shut up, that was a long time ago. ) Bugs Bunny et al go without saying but my all time favorite animated character is The Pink Panther.

When I was younger I loved Heathcliff the cat. I think they ran the cartoon with Garfield. I hated Garfield but would watch it for the chance to see Heathcliff terrorize the neighborhood.
When Animaniacs and Tiny Toons came out they instantly became my favorite shows. The humor on them was top-knotch. They are ten times funnier than all the sitcoms on network tv today. I scoured Ebay until I was able to find a copy of Tiny Toon's How I Spent My Summer Vacation, a movie my brother and I have memorized. Everytime I go to a theme park I have to sing the Happy World Land Theme Song. I think my favorite character in TT was Plucky Duck. I love when they are singing the Name Game song and nobody will finish rhyming for poor Plucky.
On Animaniacs I really liked the Pinky and the Brain skits, the Yakko, Wakko, and Dot interactions and even the occasional GoodFeathers. I didn't really care for Buttons & Mindy.

Does Cookie Monster count? I know he is not animated, but he is AWESOME.
