Oh man. I told my self if I ever saw this thread I'd fess up. I'm too old to like kid's cartoons. My television is tuned to Nickelodon pretty much 24/7 and only one cartoon has caught my attention enough where I can sit down and watch it. Yeah *hangs head* I'm a Danny Phantom fan. But it's a cute show. Who wouldn't love a cartoon where the kid is half ghost?

Does anyone else think that Wile E. Coyote, Supergenius sounds an awful lot like Dr. Frasier Crane?
And, by the way, I've always wondered whether David Hyde Pierce modeled Niles's delivery on Mr. Peabody's voice.

There's definitely personality and speech similarities between Wile E. Coyote and Frasier Crane. Wile E. Coyote sounded a touch more snobbish though, to me anyway.

How do I love this thread? Let me count the ways...
Thanks for reminding me glitterbug of She-ra: Princess of Power who I vaguely recall was the long-lost twin sister (?) of He-man. She was part of my morning TV routine before school.
Another one that I loved was Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines. An airbourne squadron whose sole mission every episode was to Stop That Pigeon from delivering his messages. And they failed spectacularly everytime. In retrospect I can see that the cartoon was set in WWI.
Then there was AstroBoy who shot things out of his arse!
And in film I can't go past Roger Rabbit.

My favorite animated character is Cheese from Foster's Home. Unfortunately he's not a recurring character. I also love Mandy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

Bugs Bunny, Jem and the Holograms, She-Ra, Animaniacs...I'm sure I'll think of more later because I spent way too much time in front of the TV as a kid.

Ulysses was fantastic as well. Just the theme tune: Ulysseeeeeeeeeeeees!
Does anyone else remember Belle and Sebastian, about a girl and a giant dog?
Also loved Thunder-Thunder-Thunder-Thundercats - hoooooooo! Only when we played it my friend always got to be Cheetara so I had to be a boy character, which just wasn't as good.
Jamie and his Magic Torch, anyone?
Mighty Mouse was good because the characters actually had tongues and teeth - I especially liked Queen Pearl Pureheart.

It was a boy and a giant dog actually, the dog's name was Belle and the boy's name was Sebastian. There was a little dog too, if I remember correctly. I loved that show so much, the big dog was awesome.

I love the Powerpuff Girls! Total favorites!
And Wonder Woman has been my hero since I was 10! I even have super hero checks with Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and The Flash. And I have that awesome Wonder Woman Barbie that came out a couple years ago!
Oh, God, I love when they have him talk in the British accent! It's the funniest damn thing ever! Do you remember when he was trying to catch Bugs Bunny instead of the Road Runner that time? And he was in a shack, filling hollowed-out carrots with Nitro Glycerine? "Wyle E. Coyote - Super Genius." (*pauses*) "I like the way that roooolls out - 'Wyle E. Coyote - Suuuuupuurr Geeenius..." Then of course, Bugs manages to drag the shack onto the railroad tracks, so as he's having the fantasy, the train comes along and runs him down!
And on of my favorites - Bugs confusing Daffy when Elmer was going to shoot one of them.
Daffy: "SHOOT HIM NOW, SHOOT HIM NOW!" Bugs: "You keep out of this, he doesn't have to shoot you now!" Daffy: "Oh, yeah? Well I say he DOES have to shoot me now! So shoot me now!" (*BLAM!*) Daffy: "Let's try that again..."
