ITA snarkblossom. It's sad after all these years, people still don't see people as people {{{sigh}}}.

I never saw the show before, but I knew he was asshole when Mexican arrest went down. He was just unrepentant about breaking another sovereign country's laws, and refused to see what he had done wrong. Actually it puts his Bush photo in context.

It's just a shame that the jerks who don't see other people as individuals get all the attention. It just breeds more of the same kind of ignorance on the backlash, too.

It's too bad he broke the laws in Mexico, because I hope it doesn't lead to Luster being released from prison. I don't know if that's a possibility or not. I'm glad they caught the guy but it would have been possible to do without breaking the law. I think Chapman would have been happy if he'd have been born 150 years ago in the wild west.

Heh, I just don't find it surprising that Dog is a racist douchebag. The few times I have watched his show, all the "fugitives" he has gone after are usually brown or black. Surely there are some white folk that have jumped bail.(lol!!) I also wouldn't be surprised if he refers to brown people as the "n-word" also or uses some other horrible slur. Supposedly he uses the word all the time, so I also think A&E needs to be held accountable. Surely they know he uses the word and they chose to look the other way because it is a hit show on their network.

A poster here said he is disrespectful to Hawaiian customs and traditions, I don't watch his show regularly, so can someone reiterate how exactly he is.

At least A&E is being more responsible than VH1, which still hasn't canceled Hogan Knows Best after one its "stars" turned his friend into a vegetable.

I never realized he was a convicted killer. Who did he kill, and why? Has he ever discussed this?

I googled and tried to find some info myself but it all just mentioned that he's an ex-con and didn't elaborate. I also found out he has twelve kids.

He was sitting in the car while his friend went into a drug dealers house to buy pot. His friend had a concealed weapon and shot the dealer. The dealer was also a friend of Dog's, and supposedly told the police (before he died) it wasn't Dog that shot him.

I'm really disappointed to hear about the tape. I don't watch the show enough to know if there were other signs of his racism. But he always struck me as sincere in trying to help people turn their life around.
