I don't know if A&E will put the show back on the air. Here in NYC, A&E lost their sweet spot on the Time Warner lineup. They used to be channel 18 I think and now theyre channel 44 (and this was BEFORE the tape). A&E has been going downhill for years now; they used to show classy shows, lately they've featured Dog and the Gotti brothers.

Because of this thread I just e-mailed Yum!Brands and A&ETV to tell them that I support them in pulling their ads/Dog show. The name Yum!Brands detracted a little from the seriousness of the mood, but I persevered. I expressed concern in both e-mails that since the "Dog" show was such a money maker, and because it had a theme of redemption that Dog would be given a chance to redeem himself. I told them that if Dog was ever on again I would boycott the advertisers and urge my friends to do the same.

If A&E is considering trying for a very special episode (Hi, I'm Dr. Phil, and today I will try to help a Dog torn apart by hate find a soft spot to land. Dog, isn't it really yourself you hate? Not the blacks, the Mexicans and the whores?). I hope this will influence their decision.

(Now I'm off to let Reeses know that their special Halloween edition Elvis inspired banana peanut butter cups I bought are heat damaged. Stand back, I'm on a stale sugar fueled rampage!)

That's a possibility. Yum Brands- KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut- pulled their advertising effective immediately.

Yum Brands does not need any more bad publicity, especially news broke about the rats putting on a show in one New York Taco Bell.

I saw one episode that show how the Dog came to be; it talked about his hell-raising youth, his time in prison, how he met Beth, his emotionally abusive father, and how he turned his life around. That had endeared me to the man. Too bad this scandal has cause whatever good will I had for him to evaporate.

Did you see him last night on Hannity? What a fucktard. I never watched his show because he looks like a trashbag to me but I found out my Great Aunt Margie (88) and a lot of her bridge partners do. Suprised me because they are all kind of waspy old ladies lol. But I do love my Aunt because she told me yesterday all of them will never watch him again because of his use of the n word. Any faults my family may have, racisim is not and has never been one of them and racists will not be tolerated by any of us.

I didn't see it, but read about it this morning. Let me get this straight: he's always felt like he was "black" (could relate to African-Americans because of his poor, trashy, criminal background) and therefore thought it was okay that he used the N-word, becuase other black people do? There's so much screwed up with that I don't even know where to begin.

(Feel free to correct me if I misinterpreted what he was saying, it's just what I read which could certainly be a misinterpretation of what really happened.)

Wouldn't surprise me Neurochick - considering he doesn't seem to understand how a condom works. What does he have - 12 kids?

I watched the first season and thought it was great, but rarely watched it again because it came on at bad times. I fully supported him with the whole extradition nonsense, but this whole situation makes me sick.

When will people learn - unless you are of a certain race, ethnicity, sexuality, whatever - you are not allowed to use their slang. Period. End of story.
