Def Leppard was on GMA and Strahan & Sara today to promote their Las Vegas residency. I thought they looked and sounded pretty good, it took me back.

It was amusing to see the audience (mostly middle aged and above like me) cheering and clapping along in an orderly fashion.

I can’t figure out how to post a link, but I’ve been singing the chorus off and on, since I woke up today.  It’s “Rat In Mi Kitchen” by UB40. Hubby and I, back in the 80s, would go to their yearly concert at Canada’s Wonderland.  I would like to dedicate it to the rat-in-chief of the United States.

The Petshop Boys have released an updated version of their ‘80s hit “Westend Girls” on YouTube. I do prefer the original, but this one sounds a lot better than a lot of what’s on the radio today.

I cannot get over how much Neil Tennant’s voice has retained its quality and range over the last 30+ years.

That time 90s drunk and stoned me was sat beside Hazel O Connor butchering her 80s song while my friend kicked me in the shin repeatedly, it was some after thing isomewhere in Dublin I don’t recall it well but my mate was furious with me!

Sang along again when it popped up on an 80s playlist this time in an empty room, mercifully.
