I watched Freddy vs. Jason last night on SciFi and I actually got to see almost the whole thing finally. Was that supposed to be a comedy ? Because it was hilarious.

My favorite part is when Jason kills that jerk in the bed as he's reaching for a beer. But that's not good enough for Jason, nope, he needs to fold the bed up so that the guy is bent in half, backwards! It's gross but I crack up every time.

Why did the kids think it was a good idea to tranq Jason and then basically release him to fight Freddy? How did they think Jason was going to spare them?

I like the end when Jason floats to the bottom of the lake and you can hear a faint 'Che che che. Ha ha ha' .

They're remaking the remake. Hey Hollywood, this isn't a Superhero story with complicated backstory. It's a Masked Maniac in a hockey mask. It's not Shakespeare. It's not even Spiderman.

*fingers crossed* After seeing the shitastic Halloween remake/re-imaging/prequel/whatever that was, please don't let Rob Zombie get his hands on this one. *fingers crossed*

The kids want their own movies, they don't like watching their parents movies. Halloween is a classic scary, really scary movie, and if they can make a flick that doesn't suck, it could be very profitable. It beats the zombie/warewolf/vampire scary movies!

I myself am ready for a real dude type scary movie, not a Maryjane sexey zombie vampire movie. You know, six kids find themselves at an abandoned camp and some deranged psychopath offs them one by one... The slutty girl first, then the bully jock, until the only one left is the virgin goody girl. It's prefect for our current political environment as well! Be nice and pure and the bad guy won't kill your and use your face for a mask. It a message movie!

Self-deprecating remakes are out. Super serious, morbidly realistic remakes are in. Now let's get Sigourney Weaver to play Mrs. Voorhees and everything will be awesome.
