I saw previews for this new show "Castle" starring Nathan Fillon. I thought it looked kind of good and interesting. Has anyone else here seen the preview? What do you think? I plan on giving it a try.

I've seen the preview. It does look interesting. (Although, I can imagine the relationship between the two leads getting annoying, as they're already playing up the love angle interest in the previews, and I hate it when shows have two leads who are sexually attracted to each other going for years without actually doing the nasty, because it's so unrealistic. In real life, people have sex with people they get along with and are attracted to.)

And, it's got Fillon, so I'm guaranteed to at least give it a try.

Well, that's great. Inquisitive minds going to the official website are met with BANDWIDTH EXCEEDED. Insidery preview with James Patterson and Stephen Cannell, though.

I liked it. I'm Nathan-biased, but I thought it was a good mystery hour. The other characters need to be fleshed out a bit, but seriously...if it was just Nathan running around like Mrs. Fletcher for an hour, the show would work. He is the show.

I was a bit surprised by Stana Katic (sp?). Last I saw her she was playing a vampire opposite Noah Wiley. I wasn't impressed. Still not impressed, but there was a smidgen of chemistry with Nathan. If they don't make her into a frigid, rules-only bitch, there's hope. I could see them dropping the will they/won't they stuff and just put them together, but then it would be too much like JD Robb (Nora Roberts)'s female detective with the socially connected, multi-millionaire boyfriend.

PS: It did 11 million in viewers opposite CSI: Shades' 14 million. Not bad.
