The books are terrible when you're trying to eat healthy. If Stephanie's not eating pot roast dinners and chocolate cake at her parents, she and Lula are out getting Burger King, donuts, fried chicken...no books make me hungrier.
This really should've been a tv series. I think it would've worked so well.

What do you mean "monotonous?" You don't want to hear, for the 20th book, about going back and forth between Ranger and Joe? Grandma saying "pip" for the millionth time? (Oh, and hey, did you know Vinnie's a pervert of the highest order?!) Some fan you are!  I can't remember, does she allude to Vinnie doing something with a duck? And does Lula like to eat? Seems like she glossed over details like that.  Lula used to be a ho, you know. |

I'm reading the 16th book right now and gotta tell you, this vacillation between Morelli & Ranger is really getting old.

I can't figure out how they are going to portray Lulu without someone somewhere being offended. The hilarious fat black chick who is an ex-hooker and eats all the time, yeah, that won't go over well.
I read that Sherri Shepard was cast, so I hope she can rise above the material.

I have no idea what this is about--I'm guessing a film adaptation by a middling author. The one thing that keeps popping up and disturbing me is the phrase "10 years ago such and such could've been cast." Was this written 10 years ago? Cripes.
