From what I understand about KP, her parents were upper-echelon clams so she was born into the madness. I think JT was a clam before they met, so it does sound like a case of $cieno-brokered mating.

Travolta got into Scientology in the late 70s when he first became famous. He met Kelly sometime in the mid-80s, I think via Scientology. They were friends for a few years before they started dating, which lends more credence to the rumor that it was a marriage of convenience.

According to George Clooney, Kelly wasn't as hard-core into Scientology when she was dating him. Maybe after George dumped her ('89 or '90) she turned to the Church for relationship/career guidance and they agreed to help her if she'd beard Travolta. Even though Travolta's career was not going well at the time, he still had tons of money and did get Kelly lots of publicity.

You know, bad movies aside, I always liked JT. Which makes his Stepford clam all the more disturbing. See, the clammy wife kills him for me. I'd like to think he uses her to make all of the ignorant clammy statements so he can keep his well-fed mug out it. But he is still married to this waste of space, and so I think she speaks for both of them. Their Wall of Crazy must be enormous. I just wish they'd keep their poor kid out of the room.

You go, JT! Keep letting your K-list wife make ignorant statements based on clamdom and I will boycott YOU as well as Clambo.

I'm having trouble believing a word this woman says. Google Jett's story on the Internet: some sources say that he was 15-months-old when he became ill; others that he was a child of 3. Kelly says that when Jett was finally diagnosed, there were "tons" of children in the ICU, but there's only 3000 cases of Kawasaki's nationwide each year--are they all in Los Angeles? Kelly says that Kawasaki's left Jett with serious allergies and asthma, but those aren't listed as long term effects of the disease.

What causes Kawasaki's is still unknown. It may very well be exposure to chemicals, but there's not yet enough evidence...you know, data collected in the kind of studies and experiments that Scientology disregards. Campaigning against the very real threat of environmental toxins is a laudable task, but Preston ain't helping the cause by prancing around babbling inanities.

Anyway, while I was reading up on her, I kept running into sources stating that she had a son with first husband Kevin Gage (currently serving time for cultivating medical marijuana--I guess it's safe to say that he's not a Scientologist). Is this true? And if so, why doesn't this fine example of motherhood ever mention her firstborn child?

I skimmed that article from iparenting. It's just a bunch of pr fluff where she said that she didn't do anything really special with her kids when problems arouse. It was just love that worked things out. Riiiight. That kid looks like he has issues. I remember seeing that pic of Good House keeping with JT and Jett on the cover and I remember thinking that there was something wrong with that kid. It's entirely possible that he's autistic and hasn't been helped in the right way. It would go against the entire campaign that she and fellow crazy loon Kirsty are putting together. It takes some gall that she would have this problem with her kid and not get help for it and yet knock on Brook Shields for being responsible and getting help.

I've always hated this woman, but I had NOOOOO idea that she has a child with a serious disease, and that her stupid ass refuses to get him appropriate treatment.

And what the Hell happened to the first kid she had before getting married to John Travolta? Was that child just a "state of mind"?
