This continues to crack me up every week. Yes! And Richard continues to be a ray of sunshine, especially in his handling of Jonah's workplace sexual harassment and subsequent fallout. His blind optimism and complete lack of cynicism is breathtaking. How did someone like that rise to the Executive branch??! Jonah: "VP Doyle's a lame duck. And you know what you do with lame animals?-- Richard: "You care for them." Jonah: "You shoot them dead." Richard: "Oh, no, yeah, I got you... Kinder in the long run, actually." I'm also enjoying 'crazy' Amy losing her shit in the parking garage, and yet still being better at her job than Dan.

Richard, Amy, Dan... everyone has been stellar in their f*ckups this season. (The yes woman who made Amy quit almost made me grind my teeth.) And the "this won't lead anywhere" followed by an immediate Congress subcommittee investigation made me burst out laughing. Loved Jonah's nicknames & throwing Bill under the bus. And I now have a new chorus: Poor Selina's daughter.

Has anyone started watching the new season? I just watched new new episode for the second time and I have to stop and marvel over the tight writing and stellar performances. This is really the only show I can think of that can make me laugh out loud. JLD is phenomenal but, really, everyone else is, too.
There were so many funny moments in the first episode but I think my favorite may have been the seamless way Richard took over his new role as Jonah's boss.
I didn't realize how ready I was for this to come back but, man, do I love, love, love this show.

This is probably my favorite show right now.
The line that stood out to me in this episode was when Ben told Bill Ericsson (who's about to be indicted) "You're as welcome here as a swastika-shaped s—t in a synagogue."
I also love the line (from an earlier season) when Ben says to Selina, "We all know the White House would work so much better if there wasn't a president. But there is, and we have to work around that."

In the "previously on Veep" section, Selena's delivery of "The rule book’s been torn up now and America’s wiping its nasty ass with it!!!!" with that crazed look and mascara smeared down her face absolutely cracks me up. I wish I could get a video clip of that.
I need to go back and re-watch last season. With the current state of politics I need to watch an episode of this every day to soothe my anxiety.
I know I've said this about 20 times, but everybody on this show is so good. Amy, Sue, Jonah...just everyone. Has Tony Hale won any awards? He needs to. I read an article about how Gary and Selena's relationship is the backbone of the show, and I have to agree.
Also, I LOVE Selena's wardrobe. If I were in a conservative corporate environment everyday, that's what I would wear. I work from home 75% of the time so it's sweats or PJs for me, sadly.

Tony Hale has won two Emmys for it so far, he won in 2013 and again last year.
I'm about halfway through this week's episode and I just love how she keeps repeatedly kicking Catherine out of the room.

I hope the mystery surrounding Sue's age is a season-long gag. The idea of her being some kind of White House Dorian Gray is wonderful.
