Whoa, Selina's machete mouth never fails to crack me up, and she was on fire last night. Her takedown of Jaeger and Nikerson was something to behold. And Selina had to wonder who called her the c-word the week before?! I think I know why she keeps Furlong around. Selina looks like Mother Teresa by comparison. I shudder to think what psychological terror Furlong's been putting Will through all these years.

Poor, poor Gary. Not the 50 Sexiest mix up. Walking in on Selina and Tom. Yikes.

I am LOVING Jonah, the Congressional candidate. He is exactly awful and dumb enough to make the perfect Congressperson.

I'm loving Jonah's whole campaign, particularly Peter MacNicol. The height difference alone is hilarious.

Yes and poor dumb Richard. I think this is the strongest cast in comedy right now. Top to bottom, there is not one weak link. I get kind of tired of Julia Louis-Dreyfus winning the Emmy every year but at the same time she does deserve it.

So...this season didn't end at all how I thought it would. If I didn't already know it got renewed this would have made me think it got cancelled. I have no idea where the show is going to go from here.

Has Laura Montez picked a Veep? Maybe that's where they're going for next season?

Selina was on fire again last night. "I wouldn't be your VP if there were 50 grassy knolls full of Jodie Foster fans at your inauguration" made me gasp in shock and then laughter.

Of course Sue will be a part of the Montez administration. She's probably been working at the White House since Carter. Or maybe even Kennedy!

Jonah will be impeached or recalled or even indicted within months. I guarantee it.

I read an interview with the showrunner where he said that next season will focus on post-presidency Selina. She won't be involved in the Montez administration.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I get that they don't want to rehash old story lines by making her veep again. And there is definitely comedic potential with her as a former pres. But IMO the show works best as a workplace comedy. I think the funniest material has been when they are all working towards a single goal. I can see Gary being Selina's assistant for life but the rest of them? I will be curious to see if all the current cast returns and if so how they fit in.

Funniest part of the season finale for me? Jonah's hot interns.

Jonah's frat bro interns were an excellent addition. Good ole Richard always knows what to do. He is the very definition of failing forward.

I agree that I don't want season 6 to boil down to Selina's power struggle with Catherine over the Eaton estate. And Gary mediating between the two of them. I would miss Ben and Kent too much. They're my favourite players on team Meyer.
