The Big Bang Theory is now in its sixth season, so time to finally start a thread! Sheldon, Leonard and Howard are all in committed relationships at the moment, with Sheldon/Amy (Shamy) being the most fun to watch. Who knew Amy could be so naughty? Tonight's Valentine's Day episode introduces Raj's new girlfriend, played by Kate Micucci from Raising Hope. (She's also one-half of comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates.) Already CafePress is selling "Raj Loves Lucy" t-shirts!

The evolution of Amy is my favorite thing on the show. I like the little baby steps Shamy are making towards a normal relationship.
I always find the most boring episodes are the ones that center around Leonard & Penny's relationship progress and/or troubles. At this point, I don't really know why they are together, nor do I know why Penny has cold feet, and I don't really care anymore.
I'd like to see Penny make a little more progress in life, whether it's her acting career or something else, like going back to school.

I've seen mentioned on TWOP that Penny getting a small role in a sci-fi show would blend all the of BBT's favourite things. I agree. The guys would go nuts, although perhaps it would have been better a couple years ago.
Glad to see Raj will be getting a girlfriend. I wonder how they'll address the talking issue. It bugs me that sometimes he takes just a couple sips and he's drunk and acting stupid. After all this time, he should be able to hold his liquor a little better.
I would like a music box harp, please.

Yay! Finally a thread for TBBT.
I am also glad to see a Raj having a potential girlfriend.

Nobody gets drunk that fast! Did they finally drop this? He talked to a woman last night and I didn't notice him drink first (but I could have missed it).

He doesn't need to be drunk - he had a sip of that cocktail Penny made him in season one (a grasshopper?) and started talking to her ("Penny, where did my life go?"). I felt bad for Leonard during last night's episode. He never got upset with her, even though she was acting so obnoxiously in the restaurant. Even his "outburst" in her apartment was tame. I'll never get this pairing. Shamy, on the other hand - the best! I love BBT. It's pretty much appointment tv for me.

Yeah, Leonard/Penny just does not work for me. He's always seemed way more into her than vise versa. At this point they just seem to be spinning their wheels.
It doesn't really matter though because for me it's all about the Sheldon and therefore all about the Shamy. I love that Amy has slowly come out of her shell and is embracing her sexuality and determined to drag Sheldon into the light with her (kicking and screaming perhaps, but she'll get him there)

I want to see Penny getting a role in one of SyFy's ultra cheesy movies, co-starring with Wil Wheaton.

I would like a music box harp, please. Here it is. Apparently Amy likes "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera. Last night's episode was well-done; everyone ended up having a good Valentine's Day, except for possibly Stuart. Shamy continue to make small but meaningful strides in their relationship; the non-material gifts they gave each other was touching. And a relief for Leonard, as he was probably Sheldon's previous emergency contact. Speaking of Leonard, good for him for dealing with the proposal issue by turning it over to Penny. Jesse Heiman, the computer nerd from the Go Daddy Super Bowl commercial, was in the comic book store scenes. And Kaley Cuoco's sister Briana played the part of the hated Gretchen in the restaurant.
