I wonder if Tammy will start acting again... she's been gone so long from the public eye, it might be hard for her to get her career back. I remember when she was on Popular, she seemed like the Next Big Thing.

I remember when she was on Popular, she seemed like the Next Big Thing. It might be difficult to start acting again in your mid 30's if you are best known for playing a teenager (though I was surprised to learn she was already 24 when she started playing Nicole). Actually I'd love to see her on Glee.

Like she could be the perfect bitchy foil to offset Sue's domination of the other teachers... I'd love to see that cat fight.

If they can get both Nicole and Mary Cherry from Popular onto Glee, I will die of happiness. Hey, Ryan Murphy created both shows and he likes to re-use his actors so it could happen!

I'm goin' all "Think of the children!" here. Why can't couples try to actually WORK through their problems when there are LITTLE children? Everyone quits so damn fast. Now Melissa has 4 young children and she's not with their mothers. How long before she shows up with another gal pal and starts another family?

I know what you're saying, margojata, but we really don't know that they haven't tried to work through their problems. They may have been putting on brave, happy faces for a long time.

Well, Melissa's split with the mother of her two older children wasn't exactly Melissa's call. Julie decided she wasn't gay. Needless to say that relationship didn't stand a chance after that revelation. I believe Tammy was the first serious relationship Melissa had after splitting with Julie so it's kinda amazing they lasted as long as they did.

I've known a few people who've realized relatively late in life that they're actually gay/lesbian/bi/transgender. I get that. But being straight and (apparently) happily married to a guy, then you realize you're a lesbian... and then living as spouses with and having kids with a woman.... and then you're just NOT GAY?! Julie didn't say "I'm bi, I no longer want to be with Melissa, and I'll date men or women", she said "Nope, not a lesbian." Really? Because she went above and beyond expectations in proving the opposite.
