And they just bought a new house in August, so a staycation and having the spa people come to you is also an option. Yes, if the new place is anything like their last house, which was the size of a small hotel and equipped with many of the same amenities, they can damn well "vacation" in their backyard. |

And finish your fucking community service, Mossimo! Is it really that bad? If you think you have enough time to plan out and go on a vacation to Mexico, then that's time that you could use to do the community service. And you know who else is a fool? The Judge that just approved their vacation travel. This is why no one really ever learns or gets it. They've both got a shit-ton of money and can comfortably live their lives traveling and going about their business and never be in the limelight again. Thus, never learning from their actions. I hate the way they can get off, yet people of color continue to be murdered or arrested for the littlest crap (or nothing at all) and get stuck in jail for months or years on end. |

HuffPo reporting that Lori has been booked to reprise her role from “When Calls the Heart” on Hallmark in the spin-off “When Hope Calls”. Looks like it is a guest appearance, not a full-time role.

This news pisses me off. I want her never to work again (or not at something she enjoys).
She failed the public persona test by acting unethically, breaking the law, and being completely unremorseful about it. Where's cancel culture when you need it? (Also see Vick, Michael).

I think this counts as her being cancelled. That show is awful*, even by Hallmark standards, and she's not even a regular?
*I haven't actually watched it but I used to watch the show it is a spin off of, until that also got unbearably bad. I know WHC is abysmal based on audience reviews, and let me tell you, if the Hallmark audience thinks something is bad, it's BAD. They (okay fine, we, I'll include myself) have very, very, very low standards.

Well, her daughter is now on DWTS and they are bending over backwards to give her a redemption arc. She works things in like "I want to be a better person than I was last week" and all kinds of other little coded messages alluding to a comeback trail. So it looks like both she and Lori feel like they've done their penance and should be able to return to life like nothing happened. |

I used to be amused by that fact the "Stars" in the title of the show is so patently false, as many of the contestants are Z-list or lower, so lower they go into the Greek letters. Now I'm not. Change the title, dammit! These people are NOT stars of any stripe!
It also occurred to me that influencers are no more and no less than the regulars who appeared in the infomercials back in the days on late night TV.

She works things in like "I want to be a better person than I was last week" and all kinds of other little coded messages alluding to a comeback trail. Her partner is Val, and he is one of the pros who knows exactly how to craft a storyline for his partner and coach her on exactly what she should and shouldn't say. He's also got them putting a lot of endearing Tiktok-style dances on social media, which is another good move. She's a surprisingly good dancer too, so she'll probably go far. I can't say she deserves to be there any less than one of the real celebrities, such as Brian Austin Green, who is only doing it because he's dating one of the pros and is not putting in much apparent effort. |

I wouldn't have had a problem with her inclusion had she been there pre-scandal, if it was just her as an influencer, but it irritates me now for the same reason Lori getting back on tv irritates me. Obviously Lori's involvement was deeper and her arrogance and remorseless were more evident, but Olivia had to have known what was happening if she posed for those fake photos, so she's not innocent either. |
