They’ll cling to those titles and royal trappings as much as they can because they know that’s the only currency they have. I just hope it gets blatant enough that William is King he steps in and deals with them. Harry is going to keep on ignoring the African Parks scandal until it blows up in his face or the media is willing to call him out. Given Harry & Meghan closely control media access, I’m guessing the latter is never going to happen. Like a lot of other famous people, whilst they're still useful to someone or making some kind of money/opportunities things like Harry ignoring AP is known but doesn't matter. The minute they cease to become useful to the press (or others) any other way, that's when the flood gates of things like this will/might open. Think of how many scandals are open secrets or simply just open facts people ignore for years until their star has fallen low enough and then it's "oh I never liked them anyway *and* I can't believe they...." It might have started to happen with the Harkles with the recent trade piece but even then they gave Harry a soft ball compared to Meghan.

See, I think what Andrew did was much much much much much much worse.... and a bigger danger to the actual institution. You have someone abusing his position and running around with people who traffic underage girls (and partake in the "sexual antics" -- ie RAPE), and his Royal Family don't publicly denounce his actions.... it's way more problematic than a flouncing off to America temper tantrum from harry and his wife. That the Royal Family continues to put up with Andrew bc he doesn't badmouth them publicly.... from my perspective... makes them look TERRIBLE. I don't know if there is a way for Andrew to(cue Han Solo snide remark) lose his Royalness. But if he did, the American government would definitely not pursue charges. I'm guessing he knows too much.

If BoJo tried to give me a pep talk, I'd leave the country, too.

You might be unsurprised to know that BP has denied that they asked Bojo to have a chat with Harry. Although they probably have a lot more in common than Harry currently would want to admit in public. BoJo is publishing his memoirs so we've been treated to excerpts such as "why I nearly ordered the SAS to invade the Netherlands" over the last week.
I also just want to draw attention to this in case it comes up again in the next month. This is the reason Harry has never voted. Because he has such privilege that he can call up the British PM and the PM will take his call or it is credible that a PM might be drafted in to offer advice to him. That is not the same as any other disenfranchised group.

Harry has been up in Canada shilling for the Invictus games this week. I’m wondering how ticket sales are going? The costs of putting on the games have ballooned and yet ticket sales at the last games seemed pretty uninspiring. He launched an Invictus in schools program and gave out tickets to the games to students as well as encouraging them to watch his Netflix documentary series - Heart of Invictus. The series that Harry couldn’t be bothered to promote.
Speaking of Netflix, Harry’s Polo series rolls out on December 10th. I’m not thinking this is going to be a hit for Archewell or Netflix….

It does sadden me that Invictus might be in financial trouble because it was/still is a great idea, albeit one that was presented to Harry by his staff (not exactly unusual for any famous person). But it does seem to have become a backdoor for H&M to do "royal tours" with taxpayers and charities footing the bill and less about the people he originally said he wanted to help.
I wonder if the Polo series might be bolstered by "Rivals" being a hit but then I realised it's probably Jilly Cooper's least horsey book so maybe not.
I'm just glad when they don't do a "Remembrance Day photoshoot" in a cemetery.

The Polo series is giving big Real Housewives vibes. Producers Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are nowhere to be seen. Funny that their company Archewell Productions' mission statement is "utilize the power of storytelling to embrace our shared humanity and duty to truth through a compassionate lens." Yes, let's all share in the story of rich people putting animals in punishing and dangerous situations. How compassionate.

The Netflix Series on tennis, Break Point, did poorly ratings wise and was cancelled. Polo strikes me as a very niche sport so I don’t see how it’s going to garner any interest. To me it’s just a lazy way to try and squeeze some more money from Netflix - Archewell produced yet another show!
I’m going to guess that like everything else they’ve produced, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t bother doing any promotion for this show.
