Six months later and Princess Ingrid Alexandra is celebrating her birthday with her first tiara event, and Princess Catharina Amalia of Orange and Princess Elisabeth of Belgium also wore tiaras. Then the 3 future queens sat for a photo with future queen Estelle of Sweden and baby Prince Charles of Luxembourg. Charles is so cute, and his parents take him everywhere, earning him the Tumblr nickname of The Hardest Working Royal Baby. Plus he always has snacks in hand.

Princess Ingrid is very naturally beautiful. She's is a 50/50 mix of her parents.

I agree that she's one of the most naturally beautiful of all the young princesses. (I think Princess Estelle of Sweden is going to be a beauty too!). The pictures from this event are great, and kind of what I wanted from the Jubilee but didn't really see. It's nice to see some youth. The British Royal Family really does themselves a little bit of a PR disservice by not associating with the Euro royals but I wonder if it's some sort of comment on Brexit? Anyway, it looks like IA had a really nice 18th celebration. And little Prince Charles of Luxembourg is so freaking adorable. Pictures from Ingrid Alexandra's party |

Great photo! Wish it had also included Christian of Denmark. And I totally agree, it would have been nice to have more official portraits from the Queen's jubilee.
I don't remember Amalia or Elizabeth having a big bash like this on their 18th birthdays. Wonder if this is a more uniquely Norwegian celebration? I feel like they have been doing quite a lot to mark Ingrid's coming of age.

In that group photo, we have our very own board's namesake Marie-Chantal in green in the back row. Annoys me senseless that she's labeled "HRH" when there is no monarchy in Greece nor is it ever likely to be reinstated.
But it's so snark-worthy to watch her cosplay like this.

This board was named for her because our founder, Moldy Tofu, made it her mission to snark on people who imagine themselves to be bigger, better and more deserving than what they truly merit.
Marie-Chantal, being the biggest social climber since Cinderella, fashions herself as royalty despite being married into a family of a deposed king whose children (and grandchildren) do not qualify as royalty themselves. She is not what she believes herself to be, and therefore is worthy of snark and everything else we conjure up here.
